The New York Giants and Los Angeles Rams meet tonight at SoFi Stadium for Monday Night Football, closing out Week 2 with two teams looking to make an early statement.
And both sides enter the night with something to prove.
New York Has a Different Look
The Giants opened their season with a win over the Dallas Cowboys, giving New York an early boost under head coach John Harbaugh.
A major part of the attention will once again be on quarterback Jaxson Dart.
Dart has already shown an ability to make plays when the spotlight gets brighter, while running back Cam Skattebo gives New York another weapon capable of making life difficult for the Rams’ defense.
But doing it in Los Angeles presents a different challenge.
The Rams Need an Answer
Los Angeles enters Monday night looking for a response.
The Rams are coming off a 27–7 loss to the San Francisco 49ers, making tonight an early opportunity to put that performance behind them.
They still have plenty of firepower.
Matthew Stafford leads an offense featuring Davante Adams and Kyren Williams, while Aaron Donald’s expected return would provide a major boost to the Los Angeles defense.
For Stafford and the Rams, the goal is simple: get the offense moving and protect home field.
